The Benefits of Paint Protection Film
Why Get PPF Film For Your Vehicle?
There are several benefits of installing a paint protection film for your vehicle, including:
Custom Finish – Paint protection film is a clear material that can vary in standard, matte, or gloss finishes.
Layer of Protection – A PPF wrap provides a superior level of protection for you vehicle against chips, scratches, and corrosion. This protection helps to preserve the vehicle’s appearance and maintain its resale value.
Easy Maintenance – PPF is highly resistant to dirt, stains, and water spots, making it easier to clean and maintain the vehicle’s exterior. Regular washing and routine maintenance can be performed without the fear of damaging the film. Additionally, PPF can be polished to restore its glossy finish, ensuring the vehicle looks its best at all times.
Self-Healing Properties -Some PPF products are equipped with self-healing properties, which means that they have the ability to repair minor scratches and swirl marks on their own. The film’s surface is designed to revert back to its original state when exposed to heat or sunlight, eliminating the need for professional intervention or costly repairs.
UV Protection – Paint can fade and deteriorate over time due to prolonged exposure to harmful UV rays. PPF provides a shield against these rays, preventing them from penetrating the paint and causing fading or discoloration.
How we Install Paint Protection Film
Our Process for ensuring perfect PPF Installation
Vehicle Inspection – Before beginning the installation process, a thorough inspection of the vehicle is conducted to identify any existing damage, imperfections, or areas of concern. This step ensures that the vehicle’s surface is in optimal condition for PPF application.
Surface Preparation – The vehicle’s surface is thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated to remove any dirt, wax, or debris that could hinder proper adhesion. Specialized cleaning agents and techniques are used to ensure a pristine surface for PPF installation.
Precision Cutting – PPF is custom-cut using computer software or templates that are specifically designed for each vehicle make and model. This ensures a precise fit and seamless coverage, leaving no exposed areas vulnerable to damage.
Film Application – The PPF is carefully applied to the vehicle’s surface using a combination of heat, pressure, and specialized tools. This process allows the film to conform to the vehicle’s contours and curves, ensuring a smooth and uniform finish.
Finishing Touches – Once the film is applied, any excess material is trimmed, and edges are carefully tucked for a clean and seamless appearance. The installer performs a final quality check to ensure proper alignment, coverage, and overall finish.
Curing and Inspection – The PPF is allowed to cure and adhere fully to the vehicle’s surface. After the curing period, a detailed inspection is conducted to ensure that the installation meets the highest standards of quality and that the vehicle is ready for delivery to the customer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Paint Protective Film FAQS
Paint protection film (PPF), or “stoneguard” as it is commonly known, is one of the most efficient ways to preserve the shine on your vehicle. With it’s tough, durable and virtually invisible application, PPF film protects your vehicle’s finish, without changing the appearance of your vehicle.
PPF film works by creating a moisture barrier, protecting vulnerable areas on your vehicle such as front bumpers, hoods, side mirrors, door handle cavities, door edges, rocker panels, and rear fender panels. Using a paint protective film wrap keeps your vehicle looking newer longer, and can enhance the resale value of your vehicle down the road.
Paint Protection Film (PPF) can be professionally installed anywhere you want to protect your vehicle finish from scratches, chips, stains and other potentially damaging elements.
Some places on your vehicle you may want to protect:
- Rocker panels
(from sand and stones kicked up by tires) - Trunk ledges
(from golf clubs, luggage and strollers) - Hoods, bumpers and mirror backs
(from flying gravel, bug acids and tar) - Door handle cavities and door edges
(from rings, keys, belt buckles and purses) - Full hoods, trunks and roofs
(from bird droppings and tree sap) - PPF Wrap

Yes it can be removed. The PPF film is intended to be permanent, but can be removed without damage to the finish.

Absolutely! If a scratch isn’t deep enough to fully penetrate the film, it will return to its original state. Although only to a certain extent of course. Protective Paint Film is designed to self heal light scratches and light stone chips. The top coat of the film is the self-healing layer and is approximately 13 microns thick. PPF film has elastic qualities, and heat causes the particles that compose it to return to their lowest energy state (smooth). If that layer is penetrated, the film will not heal.
You can wash your vehicle as you would before the PPF film was applied. If using a power-washer to clean your vehicle, it is recommended to avoid getting too close with the spray to any edges, as this will help prevent the film from lifting.
